Nychies Hairstation Nychies Hairstation is a community-focused nonprofit dedicated to offering Complementary haircuts and grooming services to youth, adults, underserved families, seniors, people experiencing homelessness, and military veterans.
We understand that personal appearance can play a big role in boosting self-esteem, job prospects, and mental well-being. By eliminating the cost of grooming, we strive to help individuals look and feel their best, opening doors to greater opportunities and a stronger sense of confidence.
Our mission is to restore dignity, confidence, and self-worth through professional grooming experiences, while fostering a sense of care, connection, and community support.
Nychie’s is more than just a non-profit—it’s a movement dedicated to uplifting and empowering individuals through the transformative power of care and self-presentation. By supporting this cause, partners and donors help ensure that everyone has the confidence that comes from looking and feeling their best.
The Haircut & Beard-Trim Service offers essential grooming for those wanting a clean, well-kept look at no cost. It emphasizes simplicity, comfort, and care, delivering a refreshed appearance without advanced styling or extra services.
The Youth & Senior Haircut Service provides free grooming and care for children, teens, and older adults. This service aims to boost confidence, dignity, and self-esteem through professional and compassionate attention.
Basic haircut service involves trimming or cutting hair to a neat, clean, and manageable length. It’s often done to maintain a tidy appearance, especially for youth, seniors, veterans, or individuals experiencing financial hardship.
Services do not include:
Chemical services, blow-dry and styling, specialty haircuts, bald fades, burst fades, and more.
Specialty haircuts depend on how many people are being served and the amount of time available.
Partner with us
Nychie’s Hairstation partners with nonprofit organizations, veteran service providers, shelters, community organizations, government agencies, and other organizations to provide on-site grooming services

Meet the Team
Nychie’s is dedicated to my grandmother, Stella D. (Nychie) Tyson, who devoted her life to the culinary arts, serving youth, underserved families, and adults in our community. We will honor her legacy with commitment and compassion, ensuring no one is left behind. My non-profit exists for one purpose—to uplift those in need, and I am deeply invested in this mission.
